We did not plan to send an update today after Jill’s lovely post yesterday.
This morning we saw Caitlin’s final May Queen art. This is low res. We wish we could share the high res version. It is more beautiful than we could have imagined!
Reminder that we have the May Queen pack and all other add-ons. This is going to be on my wall, but honestly feels like it should be in a museum.
Backer Update #6: A Little Update from Jill Blake

Hi everyone! This is Jill Blake, reporting for duty! As we enter the third week of our campaign, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself to all of you and discuss my role in this project.
When Aaron brought the idea of this book to me, I knew it was something that both casual fans and diehard cinephiles would love. I also recognized the importance of celebrating how A24 has influenced modern cinema. With the film industry facing an unknown future because of drastic changes to theatrical distribution, high ticket prices, streaming wars, the slow death of physical media, and a slew of questionable business decisions, it's more important than ever to champion those who continue to create cinema in a hostile environment. The A24 New Wave will serve as both love letter and critical analysis of a company that has challenged industry norms by creating a new cinema style that prides itself on the unusual, while lifting diverse storytellers, filmmakers, and actors.
While Aaron is the author of this book, I will play a significant role as editor. As the first draft of the book nears completion, Aaron and I will soon work together on revisions and rewrites. With CineJourneys, where we are both co-owners, we have an honest and collaborative working relationship that is reflected in everything we do. This project is no exception-- we aim to publish a book that is worthy of its subject and that precious little space on your bookshelf.
If you are familiar with what Aaron and I have built with CineJourneys, you know we put our entire hearts into it. The same goes for this book.
